Total True Automotive has been a part of the New Braunfels community since the fall of 2022. They’re honored to fill a location previously held by a family-run auto shop. They want to honor the legacy of the previous owners while building a legacy of their own.

The warm smile of Vickie Balderas greets you as you walk into the shop. Vickie has been with the company since 2019. She was first attracted to Total True because of their emphasis on values and principles. She loves working for a company who ACTUALLY puts people before profits.

Vickie is empowered to provide exceptional, personalized care to her customers. Her eyes light up as she speaks fondly of the customers she knows on a first name basis. She takes pride in knowing she's making a tangible difference in the lives of people in her community.

“It’s all about building relationships.” Vickie tells me, “And we fix a car every now and then.”

Her teammate Steven Myers share’s Vickie’s affection for their workplace. He left a corporate auto shop because everything was uniformed and impersonal. Even phone conversations were scripted.

He hated being unable to treat people like people.
